And, it has now launched in Europe. The launch is part of a gradual rollout that for now is in a preview phase within the Windows Insiders testing community. Recall is an AI-powered feature that allows PC users to record everything they do on their computers, and then go back to a desired "snapshot" of activity later. It's a useful tool, as Microsoft pointed out in its expansion announcement on Dec. 6: "It's now possible to quickly find and get back to apps, websites, images, or documents just by describing its content." But the capability also has sparked ongoing concerns about privacy and data security (Microsoft keeps and hosts the recorded content in the cloud), as well as the potential for the feature to be compromised and used for cyber-espionage ends. The tech giant appears to be taking those concerns seriously; in June, it beefed up its planned privacy and security features for Recall , including data encryption, turning Recall off by default, and requiring users to enroll in Windows Hello biometrics authentication to prove they're present at the keyboard as recording is happening. It also added it to its bug bounty program to track down exploitable security vulnerabilities . Microsoft has taken its time with the launch in light of the concerns; after being set to go live in June, Redmond pushed the release date for Recall back to October, and then to November , when it finally became available in limited release. The Atlanta Braves could be watching their biggest nightmare unfold right before their very eyes. The top free agent of the winter, New York Yankees superstar Juan Soto, has a projected top six suitors to sign with this offseason. Two of the four teams play in the National League East with the Braves. If Soto lands with either the New York Mets or Philadelphia Phillies, the Braves won't be able to afford to just stand pat with the roster they have. They'd need to make some big offseason moves to compete with Soto. Christopher Kline of FanSided recently acknowledged this idea and put together a few "Emergency moves" for the Braves to make in this nightmare scenario. One of those moves was signing the star shortstop, Willy Adames away from the Milwaukee Brewers. "Not to state the obvious, but Willy Adames should be a top priority for the Braves. The were several positions of weakness for Atlanta last season, but at full strength, this team's greatest bugaboo is shortstop," Kline wrote. "Orlando Arcia just does not live up to the rest of Atlanta's offensive personnel. Upgrading to an elite shortstop would leave very few noticeable holes in the Braves roster." The veteran shortstop should be one of the Braves' top priorities whether Soto signs in the NL East or not. Signing Adames would give the Braves an All-MLB infield all the way around. He would add another middle-of-the-order bat to a lineup that's already loaded with talent. The 29-year-old shortstop is projected to land a six-year, $152 million contract , per Spotrac, though some projections have the total value nearing $200 million. Adames is also a top target for the Mets this winter, so adding him would also be stealing him from the Mets. More MLB: Mets Linked To $200 Million Infielder As 'Perfect Transaction,' Per Insider

Morgan Rogers looked to have given Emery’s side another famous win when he slammed a loose ball home in stoppage time, but referee Jesus Gil Manzano ruled Diego Carlos to have fouled Juve goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio and the goal was chalked off. Contact seemed minimal but VAR did not intervene and Villa had to settle for a point in a 0-0 draw. “With the last action, it is the interpretation of the referee,” the Spaniard said. “In England, 80 per cent of those is given a goal and it’s not a foul. It’s very soft. “But in Europe, it could be a foul. We have to accept. “Everybody will know, in England the interpretation is different. The England referees, when actions like that the interpretation is a clear no foul but in Europe that interpretation is different. “They have to be working to get the same decision when some action like that is coming. I don’t know exactly why but we knew before in the Premier League that it is different. A very controversial finish at Villa Park 😲 Morgan Rogers' late goal is ruled out for a foul on Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio and the match ends 0-0 ❌ 📺 @tntsports & @discoveryplusUK pic.twitter.com/MyYL5Vdy3r — Football on TNT Sports (@footballontnt) November 27, 2024 “In Europe for example we are not doing a block like in England and we are not doing in front of the goalkeeper in offensive corners the same situations like in England. “When the action happened, I was thinking here in Europe it’s a foul. In England not, but in Europe I have to accept it. “At first, I thought the referee gave us a goal. In cases like that, it’s confusing because he has to wait for VAR. I don’t know what happened but I think so (the referee changed his mind with VAR).” It was a disappointment for Villa, who remain unbeaten at home in their debut Champions League campaign and are still in contention to qualify automatically for the last 16. “We were playing a favourite to be in the top eight and usually a contender to win this competition,” Emery added. “We are a team who for a long time didn’t play in Europe and the Champions League and this year is very important. “We wanted to play competitive and we are in the right way. Today to get one point is very good, we wanted to win but wanted to avoid some mistakes we made in previous games. “We have 10 points and we’re happy.” Before the game Emery called Juventus one of the “best teams in the world, historically and now”, but this was an Italian side down to the bare bones. Only 14 outfield players made the trip from Turin, with striker Dusan Vlahovic among those who stayed behind. Juve boss Thiago Motta, whose side are 19th but still in contention to reach the top eight, said: “There’s just three games left to qualify. The next home against Man City, then Brugge, then Benfica. “One at a time, as we always did with the goal to qualify for the next round. “In the end we will try and reach our goal which is to go to the next round.”

Former Temple basketball player Hysier Miller is under investigation by federal authorities for betting on Owls games, according to a report from ESPN . Miller, who transferred to Virginia Tech this season after spending three years at Temple, allegedly point-shaved and fixed the outcome of games, per the outlet. In October, Miller was dismissed by the Hokies “due to circumstances prior to his enrollment at Virginia Tech,” which presumably stemmed from his role in the gambling scandal at Temple. In a statement to ESPN, Miller’s attorney, Jason P. Bologna, said, “Hysier Miller has overcome more adversity in his 22 years than most people face in their lifetime. He will meet and overcome whatever obstacles lay ahead.” University spokesperson Steve Orbanek told ESPN that Temple is “aware of the deeply concerning allegations of sports wagering last season,” and “will cooperate fully should we be contacted,” although the school hasn’t “received any requests for information” from law enforcement. Temple’s basketball team came under fire last March before a game against UAB, which saw the Owls move from a 1.5-point underdog to an eight-point underdog on game day. The Owls would get blown out, 100-72, with Miller scoring just eight points on 3-of-9 shooting with zero assists. The team also raised eyebrows during a loss to Tulsa as a 5.5-point favorite. They would fall behind 16-2 in the first half and lose that game by five points. During his last season at Temple, Miller averaged 15.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.8 steals while playing 36.4 minutes per game. The Owls went 12-19 during the regular season before making a run to the AAC Tournament championship game, in which they lost to AUB.Trump's tariff plans may 'derail' US inflation progress: Yellen

Virtual Fitting Room Market New Opportunities to 2031 True Fit Corporation, Else Corp Srl, Metail Limited, Fit Analytics GmbH, Zugara,NORMAL – When Addison Martin scored the game’s first basket just 20 seconds in Thursday, the CEFCU Arena crowd erupted. It was not the first eruption of the day, and it certainly would not be the last. With an Illinois State women’s basketball program record Education Day gathering of 8,027 comprised mainly of elementary school children roaring from beginning to end, the Redbirds dismantled NAIA program St. Francis early and cruised to a 110-60 nonconference triumph. Illinois State forward Addison Martin (24) celebrates after a 3-pointer by Caroline Waite in the second quarter against St. Francis on Thursday during Education Day at CEFCU Arena. “It was awesome. It was just a fun atmosphere to play in front of a bunch of little kids. It gets us going on the court,” Martin said. “It was fun to hear them scream and have a great time. And of course they were out of school so that’s even better.” Before scoring an arena-record 110 points, ISU players were instructed by Coach Kristen Gillespie to harken back to their youth. “This is our favorite game of the year,” Gillespie said after her team improved to 5-3. “My message to our players was we were all third or fourth graders with dreams of being a college athlete one day, and we’re getting to live out our childhood dreams so let’s put on a great show. "Play with immense joy and passion and have fun out there. I think that’s what you saw from us.” Illinois State forward Savannah McGowan (52) scores against St. Francis on Thursday during Education Day at CEFCU Arena. The measurables from that immense joy revealed 11 3-pointers in 24 attempts, a 30-0 margin in fast-break points and 59.4 percent overall shooting. ISU enjoyed a 30-5 bulge late in the first quarter and carried a healthy 67-19 advantage into halftime. “It’s fun being out there with all of our team. We get along so well and have such good chemistry,” guard Caroline Waite said. “The environment when you have 8,000 kids yelling at you, it makes it so much better.” No more Waiteing Waite misfired badly on her first 3-point attempt of the day, but her aim would soon improve. Waite “The first one was a brick. Honestly, I just forgot about it and laughed it off,” she said. “After that, I felt good.” Waite, in her second season at ISU after transferring from Bradley, had scored just nine points in five games thus far. But one of the Missouri Valley Conference’s top 3-point shooters in her days with the Braves rediscovered that form and buried seven straight 3-pointers before bookending that streak with another miss. Waite was 9 of 11 shooting and 7 of 9 from beyond the arc for a career-high 25 points. “Coach challenged me before the game to not feel so much pressure. Just go out and have fun, really lean on other people and focus on the fundamentals,” said Waite. “That really helped me this game. The hoops gets bigger after you make a few.” “It just takes one game to see the ball go in and get that confidence,” Gillespie said. “Everyone on our team knows that’s what Caroline Waite is all about. She’s one of the best shooters in the country, and she put on a show today. I can’t tell you how happy I am for her. I know this is a long time coming.” Washington emerging ISU’s Doneelah Washington, the reigning MVC Freshman of the Week, scored 11 points for her third double figure scoring production in four games. Washington “I’m getting pretty comfortable,” said the 6-foot-1 Washington. “I have a supporting crew around me. I can always go talk to anybody if I need to talk. It’s like an eye opener. You have to have confidence coming in as a freshman, but I think I’m doing pretty well.” “She’s just a competitor. She has no idea how good she’s going to be. Her ceiling is so high,” Gillespie said. “She’s extremely coachable. She listens to our staff. "She’s lucky she’s got some upperclassmen in the post who have taken her under their wing. She’s done a great job with her confidence. She has a knack for the ball. She’s just getting started.” Washington is known as "Neebay" around the team, a nickname that begs for an origin story. "I don’t really know the whole background, but my aunt made it when I was a kid because I was a bad kid," she said. "Like a be bad then they changed it to Neebay somehow." Happy totals Neveah Thomas chipped in 13 points for ISU, Martin 12, freshman Trista Fayta a career-high 12 and Shannon Dowell 11. Illinois State guard Lauren Cohen (4) passes to a teammate against Saint Francis on Thursday during Education Day at CEFCU Arena. Fayta had four steals and six assists, and Maya Wong handed out a game-high seven assists. Thomas grabbed eight rebounds and Martin, Elyce Knudsen and Lauren Cohen six apiece. ISU also sank 23 of 25 free throws for 92 percent. Tykara Harrison led St. Francis (7-2) with 15 points.
